Camping without the Toil and Trouble
Welcome to Macbeth's Hillock
Luxury Glamping in a historic setting. Macbeth's Hillock is the site where Shakespeare's Macbeth is said to have met with the three witches that told of his rise to King and then his future demise. At this idyllic historic meeting place we have 5 luxury Glamping pods each with en-suite shower room, kitchen area, table and stools. Each pod will sleep 4 with one double bed and two single beds in the form of a single bed with pull out bed under. As well as the inside table and stools you will have a dedicated picnic table for eating outside or enjoying the atmospheric location. In addition to this a fire pit with seating is available, for barbecues, fires, marshmallow toasting and relaxing.
Following the Scottish Government announcement
we are taking bookings from 26th April 2021.
Due to changes to Scottish Government guidance, guests staying in a pod must all be from the same household.
We are asking guests to adhere to current Covid-19 rules and regulations at all times on site. unfortunately this means that we can not open our honesty shop but logs and charcoal for fire pits can be purchased at booking or via a guest information site that will be sent out before arrival.
Every effort will be made to ensure that pods are cleaned and disinfected between guests and due to the extra cleaning being carried out we now have a minimum stay of 2 nights.
Check in and Out is via a key lock system and codes are sent out before your arrival to limit contact. Key locks and keys will also be cleaned after the pods are cleaned and locked.
Guests are encouraged to take their own bedding where possible, including a base sheet. Bedding packs can be hired and these are laundered in accordance with guidelines.
